Excessive worrying is a condition that has been associated with several maladaptive and psychopathological conditions. When over-worrying becomes a habit, the body learns to live in a survival mode which eventually puts the mind and body in a state of exhaustion. High cortisol levels produced in this process can break down the immune system and the autonomic nervous system, causing further complications regarding our emotions and physical state of being. Learning to transform overworking is a skill that can be cultivated, one step at a time. In this short video, I discuss how you can get started in this area, overcoming excessive worrying.
