Walé Oladipo is the Director and Lead Trainer of MindBodyBreakthrough Ltd — a neuroscience-informed training and consultancy organisation delivering public mental health education, professional development, and wellbeing programmes across the UK and beyond.
With over 17 years of psychotherapeutic practice and mental health training experience, Walé specialises in anxiety-related disorders, trauma and complex trauma, emotional regulation, nervous system recovery, and psychoeducation that makes evidence-based science practical for everyday life. His work is known for combining clinical insight, neuroscience clarity, and compassionate communication — helping people move from shame and confusion to understanding and action.
Originally from Nigeria, Walé’s early life included personal exposure to adversity and psychological stress, including the emotional impact of food insecurity. He speaks about this not for sympathy, but for context: he understands survival mode from the inside — and he is deeply grateful to now be in a position to help others navigate anxiety, trauma, overwhelm, and recovery with dignity, hope, and evidence-based tools.
Walé holds a Master’s degree in Mental Health Science and continues to pursue ongoing research and professional development in counselling, psychotherapy, and applied neuroscience. His mission is to bridge the gap between academic science and real-world healing.
Across his trainings, books, and resources, Walé consistently returns to one principle:
When people understand how the brain and nervous system work, healing becomes more possible — and shame starts to lose its power.
This is the foundation of his approach: psychoeducation that builds self-awareness, compassion, emotional literacy, and practical recovery pathways.
Walé founded MindBodyBreakthrough in 2010 with a clear purpose: to provide high-quality mental health education that can be delivered across multiple settings — from community groups to professionals, from schools to corporate teams.
Since its launch, MindBodyBreakthrough has trained tens of thousands of individuals and partnered with a wide range of organisations including:
schools, colleges, and universities
charities and NGOs
corporate and community organisations
local councils and public-sector partners
training providers and professional groups
Today, MindBodyBreakthrough delivers both live webinars and in-person training, supported by a growing network of regional trainers who deliver sessions across the UK.
Walé is the author of 20+ books focused on mental health, neuroscience, trauma recovery, emotional regulation, and personal transformation. He is also known for creating practical recovery frameworks that translate complex science into simple, memorable, teachable models.
These models are used internationally by professionals, organisations, and individuals seeking tools that are both compassionate and structured.
T.R.A.U.M.A. Model
R.E.S.T.O.R.E. Model
F.E.A.R. Model (anxiety and panic recovery framework)
O.S.L.A.C. Framework (intrusive thoughts / cognitive interference work)
S.A.D.N.E.S.S. Recovery Framework (depression-focused recovery pathway)
Additional structured models addressing stress, worry, emotional dysregulation, and behavioural patterns (as used across MindBodyBreakthrough programmes)
Walé’s work is designed to be usable — not just insightful. Each model is built for real-world application: individual recovery, therapist use, group work, training environments, and educational settings.
Walé delivers neuroscience-informed trainings spanning multiple conditions and contexts, including:
Trauma, PTSD and complex PTSD
Anxiety disorders, panic, and chronic worry patterns
Depression and mood recovery pathways
Addiction and behavioural compulsions (including gambling)
Narcissistic abuse recovery and psychological manipulation dynamics
Insomnia and the sleep–mental health connection
Vicarious trauma and burnout (especially for helping professionals)
Polyvagal Theory, vagus nerve education, and nervous system reset work
Neurodiversity education (ADHD, autism, overwhelm and regulation)
Psychosis education and recovery-oriented understanding
Dementia neurobiology and intervention approaches
Attachment styles and relational neurobiology
His trainings are delivered to a wide audience: survivors, clinicians, educators, support staff, leaders, and the general public — always with a trauma-informed lens and a strong emphasis on practical regulation tools.
Beyond mental health training, Walé also develops educational resources across leadership and human development, including:
leadership resilience and emotional intelligence
communication, boundaries, and relational maturity
relationship and marriage wisdom education
teen-focused wisdom teaching designed to support identity, emotional literacy, and life skills
structured quote-based daily readers and workbooks aimed at developing character, purpose, and mental strength
This wider ecosystem reflects Walé’s long-term vision: whole-person development across mind, body, behaviour, relationships, and leadership — grounded in psychology and neuroscience, and communicated in a way that is accessible and inspiring.
(Note: Spiritual teaching and discipleship initiatives are held on a separate platform to keep MindBodyBreakthrough focused on public mental health and professional development.)
Walé is a professional member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS), and several MindBodyBreakthrough workshops have been quality-checked by the same body.
This reflects Walé’s commitment to high standards, ethical integrity, and training that is clinically relevant, safe, and evidence-informed.
“I don’t believe people are broken — I believe many people are stuck in survival mode.
And when we learn how the brain and nervous system work, shame reduces, self-compassion grows, and change becomes possible.
Whether you’re a survivor trying to make sense of your symptoms, a professional supporting others, or an organisation trying to care for your people — my work is built to bring clarity, tools, and hope.
Recovery is real. The brain can heal. And you don’t have to do it alone.”
