Clear answers to common questions about certification pricing, access, and value

We understand that investing in training — especially in mental health and wellbeing — requires clarity and trust.
This page answers the most common questions we receive about our pricing, tiers, and access options.

1. Why do your certifications have different price tiers?

Our tiered pricing reflects different levels of use, responsibility, and support.

  • Foundation is for personal learning and understanding

  • Professional (CPD) is for applying learning in a professional role

  • Enhanced / Organisational supports deeper implementation, leadership, or teams

This ensures people only pay for what they actually need — while maintaining ethical and professional standards.


2. What’s the difference between Foundation and Professional (CPD) tiers?

The Foundation tier:

  • is for personal development or recovery

  • does not include CPD recognition

  • is not intended for professional application

The Professional (CPD) tier:

  • includes CPD certification (where applicable)

  • is designed for practitioners, educators, and professionals

  • includes professional framing, materials, and examples

If you plan to use the learning in your work, the Professional tier is usually required.


3. Why are organisational and commissioned programmes priced differently?

Organisational and commissioned programmes involve:

  • tailored content

  • safeguarding considerations

  • delivery to teams or multiple sites

  • reporting and quality assurance

  • coordination with stakeholders

For this reason, pricing is context-specific and provided via proposal rather than a fixed list.


4. Are your prices competitive within the UK?

Yes. Our pricing is aligned with — and often more accessible than — comparable UK CPD and certification providers offering neuroscience-informed and trauma-aware training.

Our prices reflect:

  • depth of content

  • professional responsibility

  • quality assurance

  • experienced faculty

  • scalable delivery capacity


5. Do you offer payment plans?

Yes.
Payment plans are available on most individual and professional certifications and are often the fastest way to access training.

Payment plans:

  • spread the cost over instalments

  • do not incur additional fees

  • are subject to simple eligibility checks


6. Do you offer discounts?

We do not routinely discount.

This allows us to:

  • maintain training quality

  • support our trainers and staff fairly

  • deliver safely and ethically

However, we do offer:

  • early-bird pricing (where stated)

  • group or organisational rates

  • limited scholarships (see below)


7. What scholarships or access support are available?

We offer a small number of partial scholarships for selected certifications.

Scholarships are:

  • needs-informed

  • partial (not full)

  • time-limited

  • reviewed case by case

They are intended for individuals facing genuine financial barriers and are not guaranteed.

8. Why are scholarships partial rather than full?

Partial scholarships:

  • support access while encouraging commitment

  • protect course completion rates

  • ensure fairness across applicants

  • allow us to continue offering access sustainably

This approach is consistent with best practice in professional education.


9. Can my employer, organisation, or funder pay for my training?

Yes — and many learners access our training this way.

We can:

  • issue invoices

  • provide course outlines and learning outcomes

  • support funding or CPD requests

If you think your employer or organisation may fund your place, let us know.


10. I work for a charity or public service — are there special rates?

For charities, community organisations, and public services, we may offer:

  • group or cohort pricing

  • commissioned delivery

  • phased programmes

Pricing depends on:

  • number of participants

  • delivery format

  • context and outcomes

11. What if I’m not sure which certification is right for me?

12. Do your certifications replace therapy or clinical training?

No.

Our certifications:

  • provide education, understanding, and practical frameworks

  • support ethical, trauma-informed practice

  • do not replace therapy, diagnosis, or medical treatment

Scope and boundaries are clearly stated on each certification page.


13. Are refunds available?

Refund and cancellation policies are outlined clearly at the point of booking and vary by programme and delivery format.

Please review the specific terms for your chosen certification.


14. Why is investing in training important?

Our pricing reflects:
